দেশের সবচেয়ে বড় শিক্ষা মেলা ‘প্রিমিয়ার ব্যাংক আন্তর্জাতিক এডুকেশন এক্সপো-২০১৯’ রাজধানীর হোটেল প্যান প্যাসিফিক সোনারগাঁওয়ে আয়োজিত হয় দুদিন ব্যাপী (০৬ জুলাই -০৭ জুলাই)। এতে ১০টি দেশের ৩৪টি বিখ্যাত শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান অংশ নিয়েছেন। এক জায়গায় এসেই শিক্ষার্থীরা পান আবেদন প্রক্রিয়াসহ খোঁজখবর নেয়ার সুযোগ।
জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয়ের অতিরিক্ত সচিব মিসেস আলম আরা বেগম এক্সপোর উদ্বোধন করেন। এসময় দি প্রিমিয়ার ব্যাংক লিমিটেডের অতিরিক্ত ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক মোঃ আব্দুল জব্বার চৌধুরী, উপব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক সৈয়দ নওশের আলী, রিটেইল ব্যাংকিং বিভাগের প্রধান মোহাম্মদ শামীম মোর্শেদ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
উচ্চশিক্ষার জন্য বিদেশ যাওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে সঠিক নির্দেশনা দিতে এই এডুকেশন এক্সপোর আয়োজন করে ইন্টারন্যাশনাল এডুকেশন কনসোর্টিয়াম অব বাংলাদেশ। এডুকেশন এক্সপোতে ছিল বিশ্বের খ্যাতনামা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রতিনিধির সঙ্গে কথা বলার সুযোগ, স্পট অ্যাডমিশন, বিভিন্ন সেবার ওপর বিশেষ ছাড়। এছাড়াও বিদেশি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রতিনিধিদের উপস্থিতিতে সরাসরি ইন্টারভিউয়ের মাধ্যমে ভর্তির সুযোগ।
Premier Bank International Education Expo 2019 held
A two-daylong international education fair titled ‘Premier Bank International Education Expo – 2019’ recently ended at InterContinental Dhaka, organized by International Education Consortium of Bangladesh- (IECB). Alam Ara Begum, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Public Administration (MOPA) inaugurated the ceremony along with the presence of banks AMD Md Abdul Jabber Chowdhury & DMD Syed Nowsher Ali, Mohammad Shamim Murshed, SEVP and Head of Retail Banking.
Premier Bank Student File Service is one of the unique retail banking services of the bank to provide customized banking solutions for the students going abroad for higher education. Premier Bank is sponsoring the expo for providing opportunities to the students so that they can enhance their knowledge through conversations with agents of some of the renowned universities. A total of 34 foreign delegates from 34 Universities across the world (especially from Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Sweden, Malaysia and many others) directly participated in the exhibition and provided counseling to the visiting students and guardians. More than 2,000 students registered in the program.
