Sheikh Rakibul Karim, FCA, has been assigned as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Life Insurance Limited.
Joining Guardian in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer, he later served as Additional Managing Director and Acting CEO, playing a key role in strengthening governance, driving digital transformation, and expanding the customer base to 1.28 crore policyholders. Under his leadership, Guardian achieved strong growth across bancassurance, digital, and microinsurance segments.With this assignment, Guardian Life Insurance aims to further accelerate innovation, financial inclusion, and long-term value creation for customers and stakeholders across Bangladesh.
