মিডিয়া জার্নালিষ্ট ফোরাম অব বাংলাদেশ (মিজাফ) এর ১৫ বছর পূর্তি উপলক্ষ্যে মিজাফ তারকা এ্যাওয়ার্ড ২০১৮-২০১৯ অনুষ্ঠিত হলো সিরডাপ মিলনায়তনে। গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের মাননীয় পরিকল্পনা মন্ত্রী এম, এ, মান্নান প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে দেশের স্বনামধন্য চলচিত্র, নাট্য ও শিল্প সাহিত্যের বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে অসামান্য অবদানের স্বীকৃতিস্বরূপ সম্মাননা ও পদক তুলে দেন। এ বছর আজীবন সম্মাননা প্রদান করা হয় চলচিত্রের প্রাণপুরুষ এবং জীবন্ত কিংবদন্তি প্রবীর মিত্রকে। অন্যান্যদের মধ্যে সাহিত্যে ’কালোপুরুষ’ কাব্যগ্রন্থের জন্য কবি মিলটন সফি’কে সম্মাননা পদক প্রদান করা হয়। এছাড়াও চলচিত্র, নাট্য ও শিল্প সাহিত্যের বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রের সফলদের এই সম্মাননা প্রদান করা হয়। এ সময় মিজাফের সভাপতি সাঈদ মাহমুদ’সহ চলচিত্র, মিডিয়া ব্যক্তিত্ব ও শিল্প সাহিত্যের গণ্যমান্য ব্যক্তিগন উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
Poet Milton Safi was awarded the Medal of Honor for his poetry.
The MIJAF Star Award 2018-19 was held at the CIRDAP auditorium on the eve of the 15th anniversary of the Media Journalist Forum of Bangladesh (MIJAF). Planning Minister MA Mannan handed over the achievement award to the winners as Chief Guest. On that occasion the lifetime honors were given to the renowned actor Prabir Mitra. Among others, Poet Milton Safi was awarded the Medal of Honor for his poetry in the literature. The award is also given to successful people in various fields of film, drama and art literature. At that time prominent figures of media, film and art literature were present along with Saif Mahmud, President of MIJAF.
