গত ০১ নভেম্বর, ২০১৮ স্যামসন এইচ চৌধুরী অডিটরিয়াম, এমটিবি টাওয়ার, ১১১ কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম এভিনিউ, ঢাকা-১০০০-এ মিউচুয়াল ট্রাস্ট ব্যাংক লিঃ (এমটিবি)-এর ১৬তম বিশেষ সাধারণ সভা (ইজিএম) অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। অনুষ্ঠানে এমটিবির গ্রুপ চেয়ারম্যান, মোঃ হেদায়েত উল্লাহ -এর সভাপতিত্বে উপস্থিত ছিলেন এমটিবি’র ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান, খাজা নার্গিস হোসেন, পরিচালকবৃন্দ, সৈয়দ মঞ্জুর এলাহী, রাশেদ এ. চৌধুরী, মোঃ আব্দুল মালেক, মোঃ মনিরুল ইসলাম, স্বতন্ত্র পরিচালক, আনোয়ারুল আমিন, ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও প্রধান নির্বাহী, আনিস এ. খান এবং গ্রুপ কোম্পানী সচিব, মালিক মুনত্াসির রেজাসহ বিপুল সংখ্যক শেয়ারহোল্ডারগণ। এই বিশেষ সাধারণ সভায় শেয়ারহোল্ডাররা সর্বসম্মতিক্রমে নতুন তহবিল গঠনের জন্য নরওয়েজীয় উন্নয়নশীল তহবিল নরফান্ড এর অনুকুলে নতুন শেয়ার ইস্যু করার জন্য অনুমোদন করেছেন। এছাড়াও ব্যাংকের সংঘবিধিতে বেশ কিছু পরিবর্তন অনুমোদিত হয়।
